Branding

Brand Identification System

In this exercise, I took a number and letter combination and turned it into a logo. Then, I invented a company to use that logo and added a signature and tagline to the design. From this, I established typeface and color standards and then applied everything to stationery and other company uses to round out the brand.

Collaborative Brand Pop-Up Event

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Dungeons & Dragons game, I created this collaborative pop-up event with Barnes & Noble. The mission is to introduce players to the wide selection of D&D books and merchandise available at their local B&N store and to introduce non-players to the world of tabletop role playing games.

Brand elements are taken from both B&N and D&D and are applied in an accessible mobile event space that is transported and displayed in a customized metal shipping container.

At the event, visitors are guided through the basics of character creation as they learn the ins and outs of the gaming system. Attendees who complete their character sheet receive an exclusive coupon for B&N and are invited to participate in one of the many in-store gaming sessions, thereby driving traffic to the store.

Package Design

After studying package design, I had the opportunity to design my own. This selection allowed me to determine what information needed to be present, how it would be visually communicated, and what was necessary to relay to the printer for production.
